Social Networking can be fun and it gives everyone the opportunity to communicate around the world in a collaborative way. Most teens use social networking sites for educational purposes, communicating with friends and family, and for future jobs. On Facebook you can interact with people you personally don't know. It is also great way to communicate with friends that are around the world that you know and friends that you met online. Social networking sites such as facebook and Myspace can be fun but Any information on your profile can easily be copied on someones computer or sent around the world. Their is no private place online. Many teens,kids and adults put personal information on their profile of the social network and do not think about the consequences that will happen to them. You can’t undo whatever you post online so think before you share. Many kids lie to get accounts on Facebook or Myspace. Hackers are everywhere on the internet but you can also find them on social networking sites. Not everyone is your friend someone might lie and ask you for your personal information.On twitter their are many untrue comments and lots of information is put into the public. Some people even went into prism. If you still have your social network account when you are in college the business people can see the page and if their is something inappropriate the business people won’t want you to work for them. A British teen lost her office job because she said that her work was dull. Read the privacy policy or terms of condition before you sign up. When you create your profile set it as private. If you need to fill in your profile leave it blank or use fake information. Be careful in what you post online. Only friend people you know don't friend strangers.
